Alleyne Forjanic has over 25 years' experience working in the Vocational Education Training sector as a Trainer and Assessor and RTO Operations and Compliance Manager and has 40 years' experience working in the hospitality and retail industry. Alleyne provides consultation services, Vocational and Non-Vocational training and assessing and she holds qualifications in aged care, community services, business management, food safety and infection control.. Alleyne also has expertise working with culturally and linguistically diverse populations and holds a Graduate Certificate in Adult Language, Literacy, and Numeracy Practice.

Erin Coates
Trainer/Assessor

Erin Coates has over 8 years of experience working in Community, Aged Care and Disability sector in the ACT. Erin has had roles including Group Coordinator, Care Coordinator and Support Worker (Residential Aged Care Facilities and Home and Community Care). She is currently studying her Diploma of Community Service and has qualifications in Certificate III in Individual Support, Certificate III in Disability Support, Certificate IV in Ageing Support and Certificate IV in Training and Education. Erin has also recently completed the Mental Health First Aid course.

Erin’s experience includes organizing and running workshops targeting adults living with disabilities, engaging them in activities such as cooking and arts classes. Working as a Care Coordinator to create and work with treatment plans to support recovery and improvement for clients living in their own homes and has managed and organised multiple client caseload.

Erin has experience working in residential aged care as a personal care worker, and she also worked as a home and community support worker for a combined time of over 6 years. She is very proud to have been her own grandfather’s personal carer for 3 years before he passed away. Erin says these experiences helped her appreciate the importance of high-quality training and care, through the impact it can make on the lives of those around you.

She is a passionate educator, dedicated to ensuring her students acquire the skills and knowledge to realise their dreams and vision. Aaisha has over 20 years of experience as a nurse, educator and manager. Her nursing experience is extensive across various clinical settings, including emergency, medical, surgical, aged psychiatry, rehabilitation and paediatrics. Aaisha is a skilled educator, an innovative program developer and an advocate for ongoing education. She is committed to her students and her team of trainers, ensuring that student learning is enhanced to its optimum level. Her expertise, professionalism and dedication to her role as the Nursing Coordinator ensures our students are engaged in a learning environment that leads to developing the very best qualities in our nurses.

Gimya has been working over 14 years in different parts of the world. She has worked in India, Middle East, New Zealand and currently in Australia. Her contribution as a registered nurse, trainer and assessor has played a great role in brightening others life.

Over these years Gimya has achieved expansive knowledge, skills, and a great insight in different cultural beliefs. Reliable, pleasant, ethical healthcare provider and educator with ability to stay calm and intervene during crises, facilitates groups and educational seminars, and collaborates on multidisciplinary teams. Also, proven ability to build positive relationships with team members and students.

Her extensive experience in medical, surgical, paediatric, cardiac ICU, emergency, radiology, palliative, and rehabilitation can be a great asset and tool for enlightening the future of our nursing students.
